Candidate for Twin Rivers Unified School District Trustee - Area 6

"A Man for the People"
Working together for safe, supportive schools where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
I've decided to run for Twin Rivers Unified School District Trustee for Area 6 after encouragement from many parents, school administrators, and local community leaders who believe our district is ready for strong, thoughtful leadership.
Our students deserve schools that are safe, supportive, and focused on preparing them for success. Families deserve to feel heard, valued, and included in the decisions that shape their children's education.
I am stepping forward because I believe our district can move in a positive direction by working together with parents, educators, and the community to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
I look forward to listening, learning, and earning the support of the community in the months ahead.
Married with four boys from pre-K to high school, I understand firsthand the challenges and hopes families have for our children and school administrators. As a parent navigating the Twin Rivers school system, I know what works and what needs improvement.
I am currently a County Executive with Sacramento County's Behavioral Health Services, where I work to improve mental health resources and support for our community members every day.
My commitment to public service extends across numerous leadership roles:
Priorities that matter to our community
Advocating for fair wages for teachers and staff that allow them to live sustainably in our community. Responsible budget management that prioritizes classroom resources and educator compensation.
Creating safe learning environments where students can focus on their education without fear. Implementing comprehensive safety measures while maintaining welcoming schools.
Ensuring every student has access to quality education and the resources they need to succeed academically and prepare for their future.
Building stronger partnerships between schools, families, and the community. Ensuring parents are heard and included in decisions that affect their children's education.
Expanding mental health resources, counseling services, and support programs to address the whole child and ensure every student can thrive.
Supporting our teachers and staff with the resources, training, and respect they deserve. A strong school district starts with empowered educators.
